[The Power News | Reporter Min Jin] Korean biomedical company REV-MED announced that it participated in the Chinese Orthopaedic Association (COA) Annual Conference, held from December 4 to 8 in Wuhan, Hubei Province.
This conference has become a core platform leading innovation and international collaboration in the field of orthopedics. In particular, the participation of Korea’s leading medical device company REV-MED drew significant attention and yielded notable outcomes.
Held annually, the COA Academic Meeting brings together orthopedic specialists and related industry professionals from across China and abroad to share the latest research findings and clinical experiences, playing a pivotal role in advancing the field of orthopedics.
At this year’s event, REV-MED showcased its minimally manipulated autologous bone marrow and blood concentration kits, including NovaStem BMAC, NovaStem BC, TriCell PRP, and PRP UNI. Since establishing its Chinese subsidiary in August 2023, the company has rapidly gained recognition for its technical excellence and product safety, achieving impressive milestones within just a year and positioning itself as a leader in China’s cell therapy market.
REV-MED’s blood-processing kits feature the world’s first 3-chamber system, developed through proprietary Korean technology. This innovation blocks red blood cells during processing, reducing inflammation and minimizing side effects, while allowing high-concentration extraction of biologically meaningful components, making the kits suitable for diverse therapeutic applications. Their excellent regenerative capabilities make them widely applicable in orthopedics, dermatology, and anti-aging treatment.
A REV-MED representative stated, “Through our participation in this year’s conference, we opened a new chapter in Korea-China medical technology cooperation. Our innovative products have significantly contributed to improving the standard of orthopedic care in China and have helped solidify our presence in the Chinese market.”
