REV-MED (CEO: Edward BG Shin) announced the launch of a comprehensive consulting service designed to support medical institutions seeking designation as Advanced Regenerative Medicine Practice Institutions under Korea’s evolving regenerative medicine framework.

Drawing upon more than 15 years of experience in stem cell research and regenerative medicine, the company aims to provide practical guidance to healthcare organizations preparing for advanced regenerative medicine implementation and clinical research activities.

According to REV-MED, interest among hospitals and clinics has increased significantly following recent amendments to Korea’s Advanced Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Biopharmaceuticals Safety and Support Act. In response, the company has introduced a consulting model that emphasizes not only facility development but also the operational and clinical capabilities required for sustainable regenerative medicine programs.

A company representative stated:

“Many institutions focus primarily on facility requirements when preparing for designation. However, successful implementation requires much more than infrastructure alone. Securing qualified research personnel, developing practical clinical research plans, and establishing robust safety management systems are equally important.”

Unlike traditional consulting approaches that concentrate mainly on hardware and facility construction, REV-MED’s program focuses on strengthening the “software” aspects of regenerative medicine operations, including clinical planning, personnel development, and institutional readiness.

The company noted that its experience with the NovaStem platform and related biologics processing technologies has contributed to a substantial body of clinical and research experience accumulated over the past 15 years. These experiences form the foundation of the newly launched consulting service.

REV-MED’s consulting program is designed to provide end-to-end support, including:

  • Facility planning and workflow design
  • Clinical research protocol development
  • Safety management system implementation
  • Education and training for specialized personnel
  • Operational preparation for regenerative medicine services

The company stated that its goal is to help healthcare institutions establish practical regenerative medicine capabilities that can support both clinical research and future patient-centered applications.

Through the launch of this service, REV-MED plans to expand partnerships with hospitals and clinics throughout Korea while contributing to the continued development of the domestic regenerative medicine ecosystem. The company emphasized its commitment to serving not only as a technology provider but also as a long-term research and clinical development partner for healthcare institutions.
