REV-MED announced on December 3 that it would participate in the '48th Fall International Conference of the Korean Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (KSLMS)', to be held on December 8 at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas Hotel.

This conference will delve into specialized academic topics such as petit plastic surgery, lasers, skin rejuvenation, lifting, and hair restoration. Each session will feature presentations by specialists who will share the latest knowledge and exchange ideas with attendees. Recognized as one of the leading academic societies, KSLMS enhances the prestige of Korea's aesthetic medicine by hosting diverse international events and maintaining its status as a global leader in the field.

One of the conference highlights will be the stem cell session held in the Laser Room. Presentations will be delivered by Professor Byung-Hee Byun of Gachon University, Dr. Seung-Min Oh of O& Clinic, and Dr. Hyun-Jun Park of Meirin Clinic, focusing on stem cell mechanisms and the growing use of blood-derived stem cells in private medical practices.

At its booth, REV-MED will showcase the 'NovaStem BC,' 'NovaStem BMAC,' and 'ReWave' devices.

  • NovaStem Products: Designed for concentrating autologous blood or bone marrow, featuring a world-unique three-chamber system enabling highly concentrated cell extraction.
  • ReWave: Aesthetic device utilizing microwave ultra-high frequency technology to generate thermal energy in the dermis and fat layers while minimizing discomfort during treatments.

A REV-MED representative stated, "The NovaStem kits are currently being used in clinical settings for applications such as scar treatment, tissue regeneration, and skin elasticity enhancement. They are also being applied to address challenging skin conditions, including alopecia, chronic urticaria, and atopic dermatitis. Meanwhile, ReWave offers a virtually painless, non-invasive solution for treating areas such as the jawline, abdomen, and thighs, delivering effective results with minimal patient burden."

The company further emphasized its commitment to actively participating in domestic and international conferences in 2024 and plans to continue promoting its technological excellence in 2025. REV-MED aims to solidify its position as a representative company in the K-Biomedical field through ongoing efforts.
