Dr. Gunwoo Kim, director of Cheongdam Le Diamant Clinic, is set to deliver lectures across Asia on stem cell induction therapy using highly concentrated blood Cell Zones (SDF-1alpha).
From June 5 to 8, he will present at the Aesthetic Medicine Update Seminar and Exhibition in Jakarta, Indonesia, followed by a lecture at the 2024 K Med Expo & Saigon Int’l Meditech Show in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from June 12 to 16.
In April, Dr. Kim previously spoke at the Korean Society of Aesthetic and Obesity Dermatology (KSAOD) under the topic, “Blood Stem Cells: The Simplest Approach for Anti-Aging and Tissue Regeneration.”
During his lecture, Dr. Kim stated, “While the exact mechanism of blood stem cell induction therapy using SDF-1alpha (Stromal cell-derived factor 1alpha) on platelet surfaces is not yet fully understood, its potential cannot be ignored. Concentrated Cell Zones include various growth factors and cytokines, which can trigger positive physiological responses when injected into the body.”
He continued, “The synergy of the highly concentrated cells using NovaStem is similar to the mechanism by which stem cells form tissue, perform regenerative functions, and modulate immunity. We are currently collecting data on CD34+, NK cells, interferon-gamma, and telomere lengths from blood samples taken before and after the therapy.”
Dr. Kim also remarked, “Using highly concentrated blood Cell Zones for anti-aging and tissue regeneration is a simple yet effective approach. With the recent amendment to the Advanced Regenerative Biomedicine Act, interest in autologous stem cell therapy is growing. This therapy will continue to advance, ultimately providing patients with an improved quality of life.”
