[Beyond Post = Reporter Soon-Gon Lee] Medical device manufacturer REV-MED (CEO Edward BG Shin) announced the recent release of its Ultra High Frequency (UHF) beauty device, ReWave.

This device is designed to help improve elasticity in areas such as the jawline, upper arms, abdomen, and thighs. It has gained attention from consumers, especially as a convenient home-use beauty device ahead of the summer vacation season.

The ultra-high frequency technology applied to the device refers to electromagnetic waves allocated between 300MHz (wavelength 1m) and 3.0GHz (wavelength 10cm). These waves generate heat energy in the skin’s dermis and fat layers without directly heating the skin surface, minimizing discomfort by avoiding stimulation of pain receptors.

By utilizing ultra-high frequency energy, ReWave enhances the retention of energy that penetrates deep into the skin, promoting sustained collagen production. Additionally, the dual handpieces allow customizable care for areas like the jawline, abdomen, and thighs without the need for anesthesia.

For ease of use, the device includes an 8-inch touch display user interface (UI), allowing for simple mode and intensity adjustments. The LEDs mounted on the handpiece display real-time output status, enabling users to easily monitor the device's operation.

The ergonomic design of ReWave focuses on user convenience. Its durable and stain-resistant materials ensure easy maintenance and help maintain performance over long-term use.

A REV-MED representative stated, "ReWave is designed with a user-friendly UI and intuitive controls, making it easy for anyone to use. We plan to continue introducing innovative products with advanced technology and user convenience, setting new standards in the beauty device market."

Meanwhile, REV-MED will showcase ReWave at the 2024 K-MED Expo & Saigon Int'l Meditech Show to be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from June 13 to 15. Through this event, the company aims to actively expand its market share in Asia.
